Peach Garden Rose became a painting about transformation. What began as a familiar flower from outside my studio slowly emerged as something radiant, almost lit from within.
I chose this detail because of the subtle handling inside the rose. So much was there, but I didn’t want to define it all. I wanted the center to breathe, to glow, to leave room for the viewer. My hope is that this piece offers a sense of warmth and unfolding, the quiet beauty that appears when something is allowed to become itself.
