    A color temperature workshop exploring how subtle shifts of warm and cool color create light, atmosphere, and emotional depth in oil painting.

  • The Imperfect Bloom: Painterly Botanical Realism in Oil

    5-week workshop
    Class meets weekly for 2 hours

    In this workshop, students paint a single flower or botanical subject in oil, moving from loose underpainting to selective detail. Emphasis is placed on observation, value, soft edges, expressive brushwork, and allowing the subject’s natural irregularities to become part of the painting’s beauty.
